Achieving Olympic quotas is Shreyasi’s goal

New Delhi : Gold Coast (Australia) Commonwealth Games Golden Girl Shreyasi Singh’s dream is to represent India in the Olympics. Although their wait has now been extended by a year due to the corona lockdown, the star shooter is hopeful that she will be able to secure the remaining quota for next year’s Tokyo Olympics. “I have been participating in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games since 2014 and winning medals, but my life’s dream is to represent India in the Olympics,” Shreyasi, a Banka resident from Bihar living in Delhi, told Jagran. That’s what I want to achieve at next year’s Tokyo Olympics. Due to Corona, Cyprus could not participate in the World Cup qualifying tournament.

The World Cup Shooting Championship was also postponed in Delhi. At present, all shooting championships are postponed till August. After that, when the qualifying tournaments start, my only target will be the Olympic quota.
