Dharamsala: China is at loggerheads with India over allegations of corona virus. A Chinese helicopter has reportedly entered Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The helicopters had entered the area along the Chinese border within 12 to 1 km. Earlier, on April 11, a Chinese helicopter had infiltrated the area and re-entered the area on April 20.
Himachal Pradesh CID and other security agencies have submitted reports to the concerned authorities. Himachal police claimed that the Chinese army had twice infiltrated the Lahaul-Spiti area in the last one to one-and-a-half months. According to state government officials, the Chinese helicopters were spotted from Samdho post in Lahaul-Spiti district.
In 2012, China had infiltrated Lahaul-Spiti and was chased away by ITBP personnel. Apart from this, the Chinese army has also tried to infiltrate Sikkim and Leh in the past.
