According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health, one lakh 73 thousand 763 cases have come to light so far. At the same time 4971 people have died. 82,370 people have also been recovered. At the same time, if we talk about the recovery rate, it has gone up to 47.40%.
The most worrying situation is in Maharashtra. On Friday, 2682 new cases came to light in Maharashtra. With this, the number of infected people here has crossed 62,000. A total of 62,228 people have been infected in the state so far. The virus killed 116 people in a single day in the state.
Home Minister Amit Shah interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and apprised him of the Chief Minister’s views on future action on the lockdown. Officials said the Center was likely to play a limited role and the states and Union Territories would be allowed to take decisions on austerity or relaxation in their respective jurisdictions from June 1.
