Islamabad: The number of cases of corona virus in Pakistan has reached over 54,000. Meanwhile, the US has come forward to help Pakistan. It has announced 60 6 million in aid to fight the epidemic. The US ambassador to Pakistan, Paul Jones, said in a video message that the US aid would expand training for health workers working in hospitals with severe cases of corona virus in Pakistan.
In his message, Jones also congratulated Pakistan on Eid-ul-Fitr. “I congratulate all Pakistanis on the completion of Ramadan,” he said. Ilana Jones thanked Islamabad for its recent supply of medical supplies as a sign of friendship and partnership between the two countries. PTI
